Watched “steel magnolias” the 2012 version and it made me cry ugly tears.
I really enjoyed it, but I have no nostalgia for the original (haven’t watched it all the way through). When I emotionally recover, gonna track it down and watch and see which I prefer.
Anyone know both? Which did you prefer?

My dad had to borrow my computer today so he could use illustrator. I hope he didn’t see my expression of pure horror as I tried to recall what “stuff” and “things” may have been on it.

The biggest thing that bugs me about these kinds of posts (“Remind me again why we need feminism? Oh, yeah.”) is the lack of comparison, which 99% of the time weakens the case by allowing a seed of doubt/point of argument that otherwise wouldn’t be there.

Hopefully, this little movie doesn’t come off as melodramatic, but this project is pretty personal to me and is an idea I wanted to execute soon after she died, and I...

Alright, this one’s for the boys!
I know many men feel distanced from the feminism movement because they believe it is all about women. Gender inequality has often given women the shorter end of the stick, but ironically, women having the shorter end of the stick has greatly limited men. The…
